So, in early September we went back to Northern California on vacation for a few days. It was really great. We had a lot of fun and it was good to be able to see the family. While we were there we spent a few days in Redding just hanging with the Carrells, playing Michael Jackson on Wii, doing laser tag and go carts and waiting for Heidi to go into labor. We also went to the coast for a bit and walked along the beach and hiked through the Redwoods. Needless, to say it was very beautiful and we really enjoyed it there. It was so fun to be with my Family and to share the beauty of the area with Jacob. I loved seeing him fall in love with the area and get excited about the outdoors. I like to tease him now that he's got a little Northerner in him! But in all seriousness, we loved it there and the Redwood Coast will always be a very special place to us.
