145 College Ave and Halloween.

Hello Loyal Readers! (is there such a thing?)

The Fall Season has ended and I have neglected to post anything regarding the events encountered. So...(deep breath) Here goes....

145 College Avenue, The Little Red Brick House
Welcome to my humble abode. It's a small two bedroom, one bath house just across the street from campus. My sentence is spent with three clinically insane individuals; April, Kristin and Courtney. My roommates. I share a room with April, she is pretty awesome. She is a first semester Freshman with the maturity of a graduating Senior. I'm pretty lucky to live with her. Kristin is a very talented artist (in several capacities), I always enjoy discussing art, music, and literature with her. We could probably talk for hours. Courtney, is the cheerful one in the house. She always has a smile on her face and not much seems to get her down. She's always good for a laugh. Kristin and mine's boyfriends (Jake and Spencer) are in our home so much we consider them to be roommates. They are pretty awesome, they help cook dinner, help with cleaning, and even scrape the ice off our cars occasionally. I think they are my favorite not-roommates, especially Jake. So Yeah... I suppose we are not much different than any other college house.

Halloween.
Lets get one thing strait. I LOVE Halloween. This year things seemed to be more sporadic than usual. Jake and I have different work schedules and he had to work Halloween night. So, our activities had to be spread over a few days. One night, we gathered with my roommates and carved pumpkins! I decorated mine with Music Notes while Jake did a "Where The Wild Things Are" theme.

On another night, Jake and I rented a creepy little flick - "1408". Supposably, its very, very scary..... I fell asleep... (I start work at 6 a.m. each day, so by evening I'm dead tired.) But, still it was nice to spend the evening in the Halloween Spirit for a bit. I'll have to rent the movie again and see where it stands on my patented "Scare-O-Meter. Oh yeah, I got one.

When Jake got off work Halloween night we met up with our friend Nathan and his date. The four of us went to a Haunted House just down the road in Rigby at the Old Sugar Mill. You can imagine our surprise when right before we were about to enter we we told the Rules. They all seemed routine enough until the gentleman told us - "THEY WILL TOUCH YOU, THEY WILL GRAB YOU". I had never been to a haunted house where they could actually touch you..... I was a bit nervous, I think we all were. There was a part in Witch (ha ha) we crawled aboard an old school bus... complete with actual crying children. On the bus, people were hiding under the seats and would reach out and grab your legs! Yeah, I know what your thinking - Not Cool. Needless, to say - we had a good time though. (Strange, huh?). Below is a picture of the four of us after braving the house of horrors.

There is an old greasy diner in the small town of Ririe. This is Big Juds. It's Good. Below are some pics from a recent trip.
