I remember
when I lived at home,
in our backyard we had a barbecue island with an umbrella shade, a boombox, and of course 'The Man Fridge.' There was really only one rule when it came to this fridge: 1. Never touch the Henry Weinhard's. Those were Dad's....and mine, he just won't admit it.
I've been on a soda kick lately as I'm sure you can tell and I can't seem to get enough Root Beer. This one, is probably my favorite. I personally think it's even better than the Root Beer made by Weinhard.
Drinking this will always remind me of my Dad. The reason being is because we always used to hang out at the bbq island just catching up over a Vanilla Cream somewhat often. I don't think he ever knew how much I enjoyed that but I'll always remember it. I think the best part of it all was when I would sneak one every once in a while and he'd catch me. He always acted bothered by it but I think he was just bothered I beat him to it....he just won't admit it. :p

ReplyDeleteI knew I should have had a lock on that fridge!!! Believe it or not, the infamous fridge is now catering to Brie & Mal in their dorm at CBU. I shed a tear when I left it. I, too enjoyed kickin it in our beautiful backyard shootin hoops with the light on and bar-b-queing Teriyaki and Lemon-Herb chicken while talking to Matt over the wall. GOOD TIMES!!!!!!!! What the hell happened? I can't wait to see you Jake, and Mishelle, to create some new....'memareeessss'.....
